The Coolest Place for Your New iPhone Case

So you're either getting the new iPhone in black today or tomorrow, or waiting and planning for the white one.  Problem:  How do you keep it safe once you have it?  Solution:  A case.  BUT, you don't just want any old plastic piece of ugly from Best Buy blocking all that beautiful engineering from the world's envious eyes.

Where do you turn?

I think I've found the coolest place there is for iPhone cases.  Imagine this.  Instead of buying something mass-produced that turns your iPhone 4 from a show horse into a workhorse, get a hand-made case from a small merchant/artisan.

You can do that here.

Etsy.com has a moderate selection of cases for iPhone, and some specifically designed for iPhone 4, made to suit any taste from whimsical (think monkey-faces), to executive (leather cases with integrated wallets).  They're all hand-made, and they're all reasonably priced.  Well, except the steampunk one.  Only for 3GS and crazy!  Sweet though.

Now you can have custom, unique accessories that few others will have.  Plus, you get to help out a starving artist, instead of a huge corporate case manufacturer.  What could be better?

More accessory site reviews to come.
