New Adobe Flash Builder lets make iOS, Android, PlayBook apps...

Adobe on Monday announced the availability of Flash Builder 4.5 and Flex. 4.5, a pair of tools that let developers easily code applications for iOS, Android and the BlackBerry PlayBook. Adobe’s tools now provide developers with a single platform for building apps across each of the three popular mobile operating systems. “The reaction from developers to the new mobile capabilities in Flash Builder 4.5 and the Flex 4.5 framework has been absolutely fantastic,” said Adobe’s VP of developer tooling, Ed Rowe, said in a statement. “They are amazed by how easy it is to create great mobile apps for Android devices, BlackBerry PlayBook, iPhone and iPad.

Companies can now effectively reach their customers no matter what type of device they have.” Adobe’s new Flash Builder 4.5 Standard is available immediately for $249 and a premium version is available for $699. Flex 4.5 is a free open source framework. Both tools are also included in Adobe’s Creative Suite 5.5.

Angry Birds download crosses more than one million times per day...

During the Mobile 2.0 Europe – openIDEAS conference in Europe this week, Rovio’s Peter Vesterbacka said that the smash hit game Angry Birds is now downloaded more than one million times per day. Rovio has said that before — in October 2010 the firm proclaimed that the Android version was downloaded 2 million times in 2 days— but it’s certainly a feat for that trend to continue 8 months later.

 Vesterbacka attributed the game’s runaway success to strong branding, but we also think it’s due to Rovio’s consistent game updates and continued drive to get the game on nearly every mobile platform, including iOS, Android, webOS, and soon Windows Phone.

BBC News for Android is Now Available for all Users...

In May BBC launched its official BBC News Android application, but unfortunately it was only available in the UK after its debut. Now Android users worldwide can download and install the application from the Android Market. We typically used to install third-party BBC News apps, but the official one blows those out of the water. Top stories are side-scrollable with beautiful headline thumbnails, and you can easily quickly listen to the World News Bulletin, the Live BBC World Service, or view a quick 1-minute global news summary — all from the home screen. There’s also an option to be notified of breaking news stories. If you’re a news find, this app is a must have.

Google Launches Android at HOME..

Google announced on Tuesday a new feature of the Android operating system called Android @ Home.

Google I/O 2011 is going to be right now and Google has lots of new Information about Android. One of those hot  things with Android is home automation with a brand new top framework.

So if you have an Android's Mobile you might be interested in ways to have your  phone

interact with things at your house. That’s exactly what Google is working on with you. This is an idea of having everything as an accessory for  Android's Mobile. The framework is called Android @ Home automation. With this new standard you can do all kinds of things with your Android Mobile. You can turn your lights on and off depending on your calendar status.

So the possibilities with this are nearly impossible. You could probably setup your computer to open applications, lock, and even shut down automatically.Also  set your car to start automatically and warm up or cool down. Or really any of this stuff. It’s all up to what the developers can develop for Android. Hopefully we will see this actually be used for neat things. And hopefully it would not  turn out bad. Chances are these standards are not very secure, or at-least secure enough to control all this kind of stuff.
